What a man, what a man, what a man, What a mighty good man

Monday sucked.

Doctor appointments, trips to the hospital, a sick Alex (just a cold), and a so-tired-I'm-falling-asleep-during-Sesame-Street me; not a good day.

But I married a good man: Matt made dinner!

A recipe we'd been meaning to make for almost a month, chicken (or Veat) stuffed with goat cheese and Italian sausage (or Boca), with a crispy cornmeal crust.

While the filling wasn't 'all that', the crunchy outside was fantastic.

And that's all for now...I'm calling it a night.

Don't forget: I'll be subbing for Sweetnicks tonight, and hosting ARF/5-A Day Tuesdays. Send your entries to thehappysorceress at gmail dot com, and I'll post the round up later on.

Blog Party#7 has been announced, and this month? It's all about Red and Hot! Your cocktail and appetizer entries are due in less than two weeks, 16 February, and the first guest has already arrived! Start planning, and we'll see you at the party!

- I'm Not Saying It's The Key To Her Heart, But Stephanie... She Likes Cheese Sandwiches
(apologies to Joss Whedon, et al) Because I'm such a joiner, here's my cheese sandwich, or better known as Panini Caprese. Pesto, fresh mozzarella, and tomato, grilled on rosemary ciabatta (calls for focaccia, but I'm out of semolina); just...

- Good News For The Chocolate-addicted
A recent study, cited by the American Heart Association, shows that eating 3.5 ounces of dark chocolate a day may help lower high blood pressure; making it a useful tool, in addition to medication and exercise. That's almost the exact size of a...
