Peanut Butter Bread

Because breakfast is the most important...blah, blah.

For Matt to take to work this week: a dense, incredibly peanut butter-y, loaf bread.

He hasn't tried it yet, but I expect an update from him later.

Butter creamed with both sugar and brown sugar, adding egg and vanilla, peanut butter (thank you, Joe!) then flour, baking powder and salt, and finally, milk.

Makes a nice, thick, batter. Bake 50 minutes.

And don't forget---Blog Party #2, Tiki Party, is just ten days away!

- Mondays With Maida - Peanut Butter Pillows
Page 142 in the old book / page 176 in the new book These Peanut Butter Pillows were a hit at my office. Too bad it was such a small batch! The name may sound delicate, but these saucer-sized cookies are anything but. As Terri said, they resemble little...

- Imbb 13 - Peanut Butter (or Muffin)'s
IMBB 13 almost snuck past me this month - falling on a Thursday for the first time and coming so close on the heels of SHF 6. But luckily I was checking on a few of my favorite blogs last night and saw an early entry. I didn't want to miss this one...

- Triple Threat
I promised Matt I'd make these cookies. Good thing I didn't promise when, because I first found the recipe about four months ago! Triple Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies Another simple recipe: flour, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt...

- Retro Dessert: Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie
I apologize for the crappy picture; I was trying to snap it during a commercial break for the 100th episode of Smallville (not really a fan of the show, although I am a fan of DC; I just wanted to find out who got killed off). Another recipe from this...

- Pb&j For Breakfast
If I don't force the issue, Matt will 'forget' to eat breakfast. Forget the 'huh?' of that statement... Normally, he'd just have a Pop-Tart at work, and occasionally make eggs and toast for himself at home. I do what I...
