My Kind of Shopping

I'm not one of those girls who goes crazy over shoes. I hate shopping for clothes; always have.

In fact, I hate to shop. I avoid malls and boutiques; it doesn't really matter.

Unless, of course...I'm shopping for food. Or kitchen gadgets (or books or vinyl, but that's mostly on-line these days).

So when Matt decided we needed to order a tin of saffron, and more vanilla beans...well, this made me happy.

Summer clothes? New shoes? Not so much.

But spices? I'm all over that.

Almost thirty vanilla beans, with about twenty soaking in vodka right now. I still have most of the vanilla beans left from my Valentine's gift, so expect some vanilla-heavy posts in the future!

Blog Party#11 is here, and this month, it's all about the guys. We're turning our little cocktail party into a Manly affair, so make your favorite guy's favorite appetizers and drinks, and join the fun! Blog Party entries links can be left in the comments of any post (they'll show up in my in-box), or you can send an email to thehappysorceress at gmail dot com; they're due Thursday, 15 June...early is always appreciated, and be sure to swing back Saturday, 17 June for the party itself. Let's see how many of our favorite male food bloggers we can get to show up, and I do hope to see you all there!
