Culinary Celebrities and Contest

You never know who you'll bump into at the Fancy Food Show. While I missed seeing Ina Gartner, I did talk to Martin Yan, Paul Prudhomme, Paula Wolfert and as you can see from the picture, both Charles Phan and author Joan Nathan. Having just reviewed her book, The New American Cooking I was eager to chat with her. Elise of Simply Recipes snapped this great picture, I'm the food celebrity in the middle!

In her latest book, Joan discovered and shared many stories about American food. At the show this year I discovered an American product I had never seen before. Can you guess what it is? The first three people to correctly guess what is featured in the picture below will win a copy of Joan's new book, The New American Cooking.

Choose the correct answer and post your guess in the comment section, be sure to include your email so I can contact you, if you win! Mailing address must be in the U.S. Only one entry per person so choose carefully. The first three people to correctly answer will receive a copy of The New American Cooking.

p.s. I just learned that today is Joan Nathan's birthday! A big happy birthday wish to our esteemed author of the day!
