Cajun Chicken & Andouille Skewers with Dirty Rice

For Mardi Gras, a day early because Tuesdays are dine-with-the-in-laws-days.

Chicken & Andouille sausage seasoned with salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme & paprika, then grilled.

And an (Almost) Dirty Rice on the side.

Vegged up for the non-meat eaters by using faux sausages & chick'n as well as a substitute sausage for the rice.

I should finally get some text up here. It seems like Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) & Chinese New Year land days apart, every year. We like to celebrate, but our way. With food. And ok, we might have a little fun with decorations and costumes, too...check...

- Are You Sick Of Chiles Yet?
Day Three: My dishwasher can't keep up... I really enjoy Mexican food. It does tend to dirty a lot of dishes, though...and my poor little dishwasher is working overtime! On to the food. Chicken in Peanut Sauce Another not-too-terribly laborious...
